Avalon Construction is led by Mike Rosenthal, a seasoned builder focused on building in Southern CA’s best family neighborhoods. Mike's experience includes infill new construction and major renovations. His past roles include five years as VP of Construction for a major developer building more than 100 homes per year.

And now, he enjoys bringing his broad expertise to his clients through Avalon Construction.

  • Founder & Principal

    Mike grew up in Southern California between San Diego and Los Angeles. Family trips to Catalina developed his love of boating and all things outdoors, especially the ocean.

    Mike has been very mechanical since he was a small child. He loves building complex systems and seeing projects evolve from vision to completion. His professional career has taken him from project management roles to the C-Suite, eventually setting on his long-term goal of running his own company.
